VK’s Talent, Image & Modeling
VK’S STUDIO TO HOLD SPECIAL WORKSHOPS FOR MOTHER’S DAY
VK’s Talent Image and Modeling Development will be holding a special workshop for ladies in honor of Mother’s Day. Come and spend this half day workshop with your “Mother” as they, and you, learn basic runway techniques in preparation for the Mother’s Day Fashion Show at the Killeen Mall.
The Special Workshop will be held Saturday, May 1st at the Killeen Mall from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Participants will be modeling fashions, as a family, from Mall merchants on Saturday, May 8th.
Workshop instruction will include various model stances, modeling etiquette and other helpful tips. The class is open to ladies, age 7 and up, and the special “Mother” in their life, who is over 18 years of age. Cost for the class is $30 per person. Graduates of a previous full VK’s Runway Program who registers a family member, can attend for free.
Participants of this special Mother’s Day Workshop are invited to participate in our Killeen Mall Mother’s Day Fashion Show, on May 8, 2010!
Classes will feature instruction from talent agent Veronica Kelley-Albiez of DVA Talent, a licensed and bonded Central Texas/Austin agency. Kelley-Albiez is the former Director of Hawaii’s top Talent Agency, Susan Page’s with over 20 years of Experience in the field, including being a Texas agent for over 8 years. She is a Board member of The Alliance (Co-op group of Talent Agents, Coaches, and Casting Directors), has acted in commercials, independent films and theater, is a pagent title Holder and trainer, was the Lead Vocalist in Hawaii’s TOP Swing Band, “Swing Wood Revue,” a USO World Tour Entertainer and Vocalist, and owner of Rainbow Voices & Talent, specializing in voice-over work.
She works with Casting Directors and Clients throughout the United States including Casting Works LA, Beth Sepko Casting, and Finncannon and Associates on commercial and print projects which include Target, Walmart, SouthWest Airlines, Oscar Meyer, Chevrolet, HEB, and Honda to name just a few. Her talent have appeared in Major feature films such as: “Shark Boy and Lava Girl”, “The Alamo”, “Friday Night Lights”, and “The Ringer.” Projects for junior youth include: Parenting Magazine, Pampers, and Target.
