Knowing what it takes for you and your child to get into the business
Do people tell you all the time that your child should get into the modeling or acting industry? Not sure where to start or you have started and don’t know where to go next? It is essential for every parent to know their responsibilities associated with a child working in this industry!
Parents, come spend some time with talent agent Veronica Kelley-Albiez of DVA Talent a licensed and bonded Central Texas/Austin agency. Veronica Kelley-Albiez is the former Director of Hawaii’s top Talent Agency, Susan Page’s with over 20 years of Experience in the field, including being a Texas agent for over 8 years. Some of her accomplishments include:
· Putting Talent in numerous films and commercials
· Board member of The Alliance (Co-op group of Talent Agents, Coaches, and Casting Directors)
· Actress in Commercials and Independent Films
· Major Theater Roles
· Pageant Title Holder and Trainer
· Lead Vocalist in Hawaii’s TOP Swing Band, “Swing Wood Revue”
· USO World Tour Entertainer and Vocalist
· Owner of Rainbow Voices & Talent, specializing in voice-over work
She works with Casting Directors and Clients throughout the United States including Casting Works LA, Beth Sepko Casting, and Finncannon and Associates on commercial and print projects which include Target, Walmart, SouthWest Airlines, Oscar Meyer, Chevrolet, HEB, and Honda to name just a few. Her talent have appeared in Major feature films such as: “Shark Boy and Lava Girl”, “The Alamo”, “Friday Night Lights”, and “The Ringer”. Projects for junior youth include: Parenting Magazine, Pampers, and Target.
“Business Kids” offers the inside information regarding promoting your child safely and economically while still keeping it fun.
